The idea

The Olympic accreditation card, digitized for esports.

PlayID is an innovative digital platform designed to streamline the esports ecosystem. As online competitions and young players are core characteristics of esports, the industry faces major challenges in identity verification, efficient competition management, and integrity.

By digitizing the accreditation card system used in international sports like the Olympics, PlayID solves these challenges through an intuitive mobile platform. The platform enables instant identity verification, seamless tournament registration and comprehensive record tracking — all accessible through a single tap.

The card

One card. Only what an event needs.

The PlayID card is a single identification document — designed to show exactly what a competition or venue needs to see, and nothing more.

  • Genre

A universal card design that covers every game genre — from MOBA to racing.

  • In-game ID & team

The handle and team a tournament actually checks — unnecessary personal details stay off the card.

  • Player info

Name, nationality, and position — the core fields international athlete IDs carry, on a single document.

  • e-Signature

Each card is signed by its player — a unique signature bound to one verified identity.

The platform in action

Verified once. Recognized everywhere.

The verification PlayID was built on — the same check now behind every ticket sold here.

A QR that proves it's you

Every card carries a rotating QR code that refreshes every 30 seconds — a screenshot is useless to anyone else.

Check-in at a glance

Organizers scan the code, see the verified card — name, team, match — and approve entry on the spot.

Signed by the player

Players sign their own card on screen — in their own hand, bound to their verified identity.

Present with a tap

Hold your phone to the reader — identity confirmed in a second. Nothing typed, nothing shared beyond what's needed.

PlayID today

From a player's badge to everyone's ticket.

PlayID is built by Hopae, a digital identity company — the same verification team behind every ticket sold here.

  • 01

    A player's digital ID

PlayID launched as a mobile identity card for competitive players — one verified credential for entering official competitions.

  • 02

    Competitions and records

Verified identity made tournament registration a single tap and match history portable, so a player's record follows them from event to event.

  • 03

Now: events and ticketing on the web

PlayID is coming to the web — event discovery and ticketing for everyone, with every ticket backed by the same verified identity. Seats go to real fans, not bots or scalpers.
